During the last day of the ISP, the students are working with creative musical expressions in the workshop of Margot Zarebinski.
We wish to welcome 10 students to our CoDiME- ISP course starting today! During the next days the students will have workshops, sessions, discussions and presentations that are related to the objectives of the CoDiME joint master degree.
The programme includes the following activities:
The two days of meeting came to an end on Friday and we all have travelled quite inspired back to our institutions, carrying a long list of work. We have settled on a meeting plan on Skype and decided on several important issues.
Many thanks to Lemmens Institute for being such a brilliant host for our kick-off meeting!
The consortium is now working on exploring the details of the differences and similarities beween our existing master programmes of music education. The Swedish and Norwegian partners typically have units of 15 ECTS units, while the Polish and Belgian partners have programs that consist of smaller units, ie 3-4 ECTS. Our ambition is that this exploration will clarify and inspire our work in developing the common ground and structure of our future joint master degree!
The group is currently discussing how we would like to structure the joint master degree: Do the students start in one of the universities and move tothether to the next or can students choose where to start and end up together for the master thesis?
The project partners will meet in Leuven 15th-18th of October to celebrate the successful funding of our project CoDime- Connecting Diversities in Music Education, a project that has as its objective to develop a joint master degree in music education.
The partners involved in the project are: Stord/Haugesund University College (NO), Luca School of Arts (BE), University of Rzeszów (POL) and Umeå Univeristy (SE)
